Thank you very much for being there to help us through what was a very emotional time with our beautiful German Shepherd, Nessie. We really appreciate you taking the time to talk through the situation and help us to feel more comfortable with the difficult decision we needed to make. You took the time to explain the whole process to us, which let us understand what was going to happen and when. At no time did we ever feel Nessie was distressed, with your home service allowing her to leave us in a peaceful way surrounded by those she loved. Holy moly, where do I begin with Ben. Ella was what I called my soul dog, I lost her to a brain tumour causing reoccurring seizures at 11.5 years old. She had a hell of a life! Was always by my side, never out of sight, and forever on my mind. My first baby. Ben came to my home as I was lucky enough to get her stable to do so, after spending a night in ICU heavily medicated. It was less than a 24hr period from meeting Ben to having him there with me and my family in Ella's last moments of her life. I said to my Fiancé "we need to keep her good until Ben can come, I don't want anyone else to do it" he agreed and that's what we did. From the moment I met Ben I knew he had mine and Ella's best interest at heart. When going over her options, there was no pressure, well explained solutions, all options laid out, with time to process, all of which were filled with the kindest words, knowing the position we were in. The entire process from start to finish, was kind, caring, thoughtful, and the after period was much the same. All of the paperwork for her cremation was arranged, as well as drop off and I had her back to me within 2 weeks - back at home watching over her family. I'm so glad I chose Ben to send my girl over the rainbow bridge. In a time like this, all you need is support and Ben did that, with the utmost respect and kind heart. Forever thankful for what you do.

A wonderful service to help people in a very difficult time, after being recommended to me by a friend I recently used sunset pets to help with my sick cat. They were calm professional and incredibly kind, came out same day to assist me and help give my cat a calm dignified death. Were able to take and store my cat until the cremation team could take him sent me a beautiful card and with nose and paw prints, Ben and Crystal I can't thankyou enough for the kindness, compassion and service you provided during one of the hardest days of my life. Would highly recommend to anyone.

From the initial enquiry to the aftercare of our beloved Bruce, Dr Ben and the team surpassed the highest standards of care. One of life's hard choices is when to put your pet to sleep. Sometimes we can have the sense that its coming when they are old and loosing their quality of life, other times it can be made from circumstances beyond our control. Whatever the reason having Ben come to my home to put my old girl to sleep was probably one of the most comforting feelings whilst simultaneously having an overwhelming sense of grief at the same time. I've been a veterinarian for 15 years and can hand on my heart say that my experience with Sunset Pets when it came to say goodbye to my own dog was the best I have ever seen.
The care and compassion Ben and the team showed me and my family made a really hard time a little bit easier. They were super responsive and flexible, allowing us to make decisions needed to in our own time.

From the initial contact to having him come out to our home and be here for us and Lucy. Ben is very professional whilst providing a friendly, heartfelt and personal experience. Dr. Ben and the team at Sunset Pets are amazing at what they do. The communication before the appointment was compassionate, caring, and understanding. Then the time came for the appointment. Dr. Ben is so well suited for this job. His whole demeanour is calming and comforting. He explained the whole process and gave me different options on how I wanted to do things. Throughout the process, he helped me remember the good times I had with my cat and helped me through a really difficult time. I felt my cat was well looked after and I was able to hold him in my arms as he passed. The whole experience, while devastating, was the best I could have given my cat. Dr. Ben was absolutely amazing. He was so kind, compassionate, and caring. My father just passed away, and today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put his elderly, sick dog to rest.
