What times are you available?

We are available by appointment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. While do our best to support those who need us at short notice, we cannot guarantee this. If you require emergency veterinary care, please contact your regular vet. NQ Care or JCU Vet.

Are weekend appointments more expensive?

No, appointment costs do not vary depending on the day of the week. However, a surcharge is applied for appointments without notice in the after hours period.

Do you have payment plans?

We accept card, cash, Afterpay and Zip.

How long does the euthanasia process take?

The average appointment time for our in-home euthanasia service is one hour. The appointment time will depend on a number of factors, including your pet’s condition on arrival. Should my children be present for in-home euthanasia?

The choice to have your children present for the appointment will depend on a number of factors including their age, development stage and personality. Some people choose to have their children present during the appointment, while others may wait until after the pet has passed to say a final goodbye.

Should my other pets be present for in-home euthanasia?

One of the benefits of in-home euthanasia is the ability to have your other household pets present. Your remaining pets will experience grief and many people choose to have other household pets present.

How will I know if it’s the right time to euthanise my pet?
